Advance Care Planning (ACP) can help make sure you or your loved one gets the care they want. It is important to remember that ACP is for anyone at any age as a health crisis could leave a person too ill to make their own health care decisions.
Research Explores New Ways to Teach Using Simulation, Observation
Combine a career in nursing and a passion for technology and education and you’ll understand what brought Kyle Johnson, Ph.D., R.N., to the TTUHSC School of Nursing. Johnson, assistant professor/clinical and simulation director, Traditional Undergraduate Program, drew from his experience and interests to conduct research on the use of simulation and debriefing in prelicensure nursing education.
Meeting the Demand for Nurses in Texas
Forty years ago, the TTUHSC School of Nursing was created and has steadily grown since then to meet the need for nurses in the State of Texas. There are over 2,000 students located all over the state and beyond, making it the largest of the TTUHSC schools and one of the largest schools of nursing in the state.
